(WTNH) — State officials have a plan to stop the spread of mosquito-borne viruses at the Pachaug State Forest.

The Mount Misery and Horse Camp campgrounds are considered to be at high risk for Eastern Equine Encephalitis and West Nile. Officials will spray the area starting at 7 p.m. Monday night.

Roads will be closed during the spraying. No residential areas will be affected.
