COVENTRY, Conn. (WTNH) – The person who was driving a Sea Doo that collided with a rowing shell carrying a girl’s crew team has been identified. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says Timothy O’Donnell of Tolland was the owner and operator of the motor craft.
According to DEEP four female members of the EO Smith High School rowing team received non-life threatening injuries when the two vessels collided sending the girls into Coventry Lake Sunday.
Environmental Conservation Police and Coventry Police and Fire Departments are investigating.
