Oprah donating $2 million to help Puerto Rico


The queen of “you get this” and “you get that” is giving once again!

Oprah Winfrey is donating $2 million to Puerto Rico to help the island recover from Hurricane Maria which hit in 2017.

Half of the money will go toward disaster relief, while the other half will go to the Flamboyan Arts Fund to help keep Puerto Rico’s arts and culture alive.

Winfrey said she was inspired by broadway star Lin Manuel Miranda.

He’s of Puerto Rican descent and is bringing his smash play Hamilton to Puerto Rico to raise money.
