(WTNH) — People’s United Bank, which is a regional bank in the Northeast with over 400 locations covering Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, released a notification on their website as well as on the company’s Twitter account. informing their customers of an outage this morning.
A spokeperson has reached out to News 8 with an all-clear that systems are back up to normal saying,
“Our technical experts are currently evaluating the root cause of the issue, while simultaneously taking steps to ensure similar incidents do not occur in the future.“
