Parts of downtown Hartford was without power Wednesday evening


Parts of downtown Hartford were without power since 8:30 Wednesday evening.

Police said a transformer exploded on Sheldon Street.

Eversource said an animal came in contact with a piece of equipment at one of their sub bases.

Eversource crews are worked to resolve the problem. 

Hartford Police report all power was restored around 10:28 p.m.
