MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Two people were seriously injured in a wrong-way crash on I-691 in Meriden early Tuesday morning.
State police responded to the report of a wrong-way driver traveling westbound on I-691 in the eastbound lanes around midnight.
The vehicle crashed head-on into a vehicle in the area of Exits 5 and 6 in Meriden, state police said.
Two people were seriously injured in the crash and were taken to hospitals, according to state police.
The crash remains under investigation.
