PD: 2 arrested after drug factory bust in New London

Two people are facing drug charges in New London after the execution of search and seizure warrants.

According to police, on Tuesday around 12 noon, officials served a narcotics-related warrant at a residence on Vauxhall Street.

Officials say they located and seized crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales and other items inside of the residence.

Police then arrested 37-year-old Kerry Barnum and 29-year-old Daniel Hunt, both of New London.

Barnum faces multiple charges, including possession of narcotics and operating a drug factory.

Hunt, a previously convicted felon, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of ammunition.
