Hartford Police arrested a man they say tried selling back a stolen motorcycle to the original owner.
Police responded to the Noble Gas Station just after 9:00pm and met with victim. Officials learned that the motorcycle was reported stolen out of Bridgeport back in July.
The victim told police he posed as a buyer through a mobile classifieds app, and convinced the suspect to meet him at the gas station.
The suspect, believing he was selling the motorcycle to a buyer, traveled to the gas station. Police arrived shortly thereafter and arrested 21-year-old Raekwon Acosta, a Hartford resident. Police say he also had three active warrants out of West Hartford.
Acosta was charged with larceny and interfering with a police officer.
