PD: Man charged with murder after January killing in Manchester

News

Police in Manchester have charged a man with murder for another man’s death back in January.

According to officials, on January 21st, units responded to a report of a shooting at 158 Eldridge Street.

At the scene, authorities found 45-year-old Joseph Swan of Manchester with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, police arrested 27-year-old Millard Jackson.

He has been charged with murder, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of ammunition.

Jackson is being held on a $1 million bond.
