PD: New Haven police investigating early Thursday morning shooting


Police in New Haven are investigating a shooting incident that took place early Thursday morning.

According to officials, around 1:30 a.m., authorities responded to the 400 block of Blake Street between Stone Street and Austin Street.

At the scene, officers located a 29-year-old New Haven man with gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, it is not known what prompted the shooting.
