A report of a suspicious person prompted a lockdown at a Waterbury school on Tuesday morning.
According to officials, B. W. Tinker Elementary School was on lockdown.
Acting Chief of Police Fernando Spagnolo said the department received a report of a suspicious person in the area.
Police stated that they are confident that there is no threat at this time.
It is not known if the school remains in lockdown.
