Two construction companies were awarded funding to build a wall at the U.S. southern border.
The Defense department said nearly $1 billion in funds have been contracted out for wall construction.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wants a Texas-based construction company to build 46 miles in Ssanta Teresa, New Mexico.

A Montana based company will build 11 miles in Uma, Arizona.
Both projects should be completed in October 2020.
