Person struck, killed by Amtrak train, delays expected

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A person was struck and killed by a train in Hartford on Friday afternoon.

The Department of Transportation reports that a trespasser was hit and killed by an Amtrak train.

All trains are now being held. Commuters should expect delays.

The incident remains under investigation by Amtrak police.
