Police: Armed man wanted in Norwich home invasion, stabbing

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are searching for an “armed and dangerous” man who allegedly broke into a Norwich home and stabbed another man Saturday night.

Police say at around 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the report of a stabbing and home invasion on Quarto Road. On scene, officers learned that 25-year-old Brandon Uzialko entered the home and stabbed a man multiple times causing life-threatening injuries.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries but remains in intensive care at this time. Police have not released his identity.

Uzialko fled the home on foot. Police say he is armed with knives and they believe he also has a handgun.

Police describe Uzialko as a white male, who is 5’10” tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen with a beard and was wearing a light colored sweatshirt with long sleeves and dark pants.

According to police, Uzialko is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted on the charges of criminal attempt of murder, home invasion, assault and risk of injury to a minor.
