Police search for suspect wanted for multiple robberies in Connecticut

Police in Farmington are searching for a suspect they say robbed a local bank in the Unionville section of town Friday.

Officers responded to the People’s United Bank of the Stop & Shop located on Farmington Avenue in Unionville. Police say a man showed the bank teller a note implying he had a gun and demanded money.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for similar robberies in Waterbury, Bristol and Bridgeport, among other towns in Connecticut.
