A public hearing is taking place Wednesday afternoon concerning a bill that would allow homeless students to access their right to education.
In a move to help students who are experiencing homelessness, a public hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.

The legislation aims to help students access their right to education, allowing students experiencing homelessness to immediately enroll in a school.
The education committee says this would help provide them with stability, safety, and support.
