Congresswoman to call on Congress to enact Young Child Tax Credit Act

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) – On Wednesday, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro will call on Congress to enact the Young Child Tax Credit Act.

DeLauro will be joined by families and advocates during a visit to the Middlesex YMCA on Wednesday.

Earlier this year, DeLauro introduced the bill, which would provide families with an additional $1,500 refundable tax credit for each child younger than three years old.

Congresswoman DeLauro said the Young Child Tax Credit Act would provide families with the youngest children with an additional tax credit when families need it the most.
