NRA Political Victory Fund grades CT gubernatorial candidates

With the Primaries fast approaching in Connecticut, the National Rifle Association made it known on Monday which candidates it was hoping that voters would support.

The NRA’s Political Victory Fund graded both Republican and Democratic candidates for governor.

Mark Boughton, David Stemerman, Joe Ganim and Ned Lamont all received “F” grades.

Meanwhile, Tim Herbst and Bob Stefanowski earned “Aq” grades. The organization describes the “Aq” grade as for candidates who are “a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on the candidate’s responses to the NRA-PVF Candidate Questionnaire and who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.”

Steve Obsitnik received a “?” for a grade.

The Republican and Democratic Primaries will take place on Aug. 14th.
