Report: Bysiewicz abandons campaign for governor, joins Lamont as running mate


Two Democratic candidates are teaming up in the race for Connecticut’s top job.

The Hartford Courant reports ( that Ned Lamont will run for governor with Susan Bysiewicz joining him in a bid for lieutenant governor.

The publication says the two are expected to make an announcement on Tuesday.

The Democratic Party will be holding its convention at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford this weekend and endorse a candidate for governor.
