Sen. Blumenthal, New Haven mayor push Senate to pass Heroes Act

(WTNH) — U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal and New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker will be urging the Senate to pass the Heroes Act on Tuesday.

The bill would provide money to cities like New Haven that are dealing with financial strain amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Heroes Act would make $915 billion in flexible aid to state and local governments.
