A discussion of gun violence will be at the forefront in Waterbury on Monday morning.

Waterbury Mayor Neil O’Leary will be joined by Gubernatorial candidate, Ned Lamont, Lieutenant Governor candidate Susan Bysiewicz, and other city officials to talk about their plans to prevent gun violence.

They’ll also be discussing the state’s new bump stock ban that went into effect on Monday, October 1st.

The event starts at 10 a.m. a City Hall at 235 Grand Street.
