Push to promote early voting in West Haven

News

There is a push on Tuesday to allow for early voting in Connecticut.

Secretary of The State Denise Merrill will be in West Haven to kick off her tour to promote early voting.

The legislation aims to make voting easier and more accessible to improve overall voter turnout, as well as reduce long lines at the polls on Election Day.

Merrill will be joined by  State Representative Dorinda Borer (D-West Haven) at the The West Haven Community House, at  227 Elm Street, West Haven, at 6 p.m.
