Barre, VT – Vermont Emergency Management has reported the first death related to the floods.

Stephen Davoll, 63, of Barre City, died after drowning inside his home Thursday. 

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner investigated the death, along with the Barre City Police Department.

Vermonters are being reminded to take extra care during the latest round of storms and as they return to their homes.
