Ban on unvaccinated children in public places lifted in New York county

Leaders in Rockland County, New York are lifting their ban on unvaccinated children in public places. 

The controversial rule was put into effect as the area deals with its worst measles outbreak in years.

There are 170 cases in just that county.

The virus started spreading when an unvaccinated child contracted it on a trip abroad. 

The ban was lifted after parents of local school children started suing the county.
