National Parks Service to ban commercial tours inside Statue of Liberty

You may not be able to take a guided tour inside the Statue of Liberty for much longer. 

The National Park Service is banning tours from outside groups because it’s just too crowded inside.

The tours won’t be able to go inside the new Statue of Liberty Museum, the Ellis Island museum, and Lady Liberty’s sixth floor observation level. 

The monument sees more than four million visitors a year.
