A ban on unvaccinated children from public places in New York is overturned.
Last month — Rockland County put the ban in place to try to contain an ongoing outbreak.
A New York State Judge reversed it on Friday.
He also ruled that unvaccinated children are free to go to schools and public places for now.
The ruling was part of a lawsuit brought by parents.
They argued the ban overstepped the county’s legal authority.
Rockland county officials say around 170 people have contracted measles over the past seven months.
