Rumors began circulating online Thursday that music legend Paul McCartney would be playing a secret free pop-up concert somewhere in New York City on Friday.

According to News 8’s sister station WABC-TV, the secret is out that the former Beatle’s private, invitation-only concert will be held at Grand Central Terminal Friday night at 8:00 p.m.

Because of the show, the Metropolitan Transit Authority announced midday Friday that the 89 East 42nd Street entrance at Park Avenue will be closed from 4:00 p.m. until midnight. Visitors to Grand Central will not be able to access Vanderbuilt Hall.

A total of 300 lucky fans were able to get tickets for Friday night’s show; but you can watch the whole event live on Paul McCartney’s YouTube channel.

The event is all part of McCartney’s promotional campaign for his new solo album, “Egypt Station”, his first new album since 2013’s “New”.
