WTNH)-NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will hear Tom Brady’s appeal of his four-game suspension for his involvement in “Deflate-Gate”, according to Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman.
Under the NFL’s bylaws, specifically Article 4, Section 2 (b), Goodell has the option to hear suspension appeals, or to pass them off to an arbitrator.
The NFLPA was expected to demand a neutral arbitration. The arbitrator would have been selected by Goodell.
Goodell signed off on the four-game suspension without pay, which was handed down by NFL Executive Director Troy Vincent.
