STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–Both the principal and assistant principal at Stamford High School failed to report a sex scandal to the police, according to a new report by a Hartford law firm.
The firm, which was hired by the city of Stamford, determined that principal Donna Valentine and assistant principal Roth Nordin failed to report a sexual relationship between teacher Danielle Watkins and a student.
Authorities said Watkins had sex with one student and gave marijuana to another.
In March, Watkins was sentenced to five years in prison and 15 years’ probation.
