Santoro scores 1,000th career point in Mercy win over Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)

2nd ranked Mercy of Middletown beat Hamden, 70-52, behind 23 points from senior guard Bella Santoro.

Santoro reached 1,000 career points in the Tigers 19th win of the season.

Taniyah Thompson, who recently scored her one-thousandth career point for the Green Dragons, led all scorers with 34 points.
