Scuba Diver Found Unresponsive in New Hartford


Connecticut State Police’s Troop B has confirmed with News 8 that a scuba diver has been found unresponsive in a lake in New Hartford. 

Officials say just after 9:00am Saturday, troopers from Troop B in Canaan were dispatched to reports of a diver in distress at West Hill Pond in New Hartford. Emergency crews performed CPR on the person, who was then transported to a local hospital via LifeStar.

There is no word on the current condition of the victim at this time.

Troopers say the incident is currently under investigation.
