HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A heartfelt sign brought country singer, Miranda Lambert to tears on Friday night.

While performing at the XFINITY Center in Hartford, Lambert was singing top hit, “The House that Built Me” when she noticed a sign in the crowd.

The sign was from a soldier in the crowd that thanked Lambert for her voice.

“3 Combat tours..Your voice was the last thing I heard every night. Thank you.”

Lambert immediately began crying and then had the sign brought up on stage for everyone else to see. The solider who made the sign was also crying.

Lambert tried to get through the song but kept choking up while the crowd sang along to help her finish.
