Skies beginning to clear as rain moves out of Connecticut

AN AREAL FLOOD ADVISORY FOR STREET FLOODING IS IN EFFECT FOR FAIRFIELD, NEW HAVEN, AND HARTFORD COUNTIES DUE TO THE HEAVY RAIN THAT HAS MOVED IN.

Saturday: A muggy start with showers and t-storms possible from west to east across the state between the morning and mid-afternoon. Turning less humid late in the day or overnight. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Saturday night: Clear and comfy. Windows open! Lows in the 50s to near 60.

Sunday: Looks great with plenty of sun and highs in the low 80s. It will be much less humid. Pick of the weekend!

Monday: Clouds, showers and t-storms likely midday through the afternoon. Rain may be heavy at times. Highs only in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the low 80s..

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and nice with highs in the low 80s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs near 80.

Next Friday: Sun hangs on. Highs in the low 80s.
