Snow causes slick road conditions for morning commute


WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– As drivers headed out the door Tuesday morning, they were reminded to take it slow!

The snow came down, making the roads very slippery. Drivers were urged to leave early and take extra time getting to where they needed to go.

News 8 was on I-95 at exit 76 when they saw a tractor trailer spin out and crash from the slippery conditions.

There were also been several other accidents reported throughout the morning.

On the highways, as well as the secondary and tertiary roads, travel was slow at times as the roads were covered in snow before plows could get to them.
