Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is back, new drink introduced

(CNN) – True coffee fans can get their hands on Starbucks’s fall favorite, the pumpkin spice latte, before anyone else.

Starbucks tweeted Wednesday via their Pumpkin Spice Latte account saying those with a PSL fan pass can get their first latte of the season early. The drink doesn’t officially launch until Sept. 6.

If you want to be part of the in-crowd, Starbucks has thankfully made getting a PSL fan pass easy to accomplish. All you have to do is go to the fan pass website and enter your cell phone number. Shortly thereafter, you’ll get a text containing your fan pass.

For customers who use Starbucks’s mobile app, getting a pumpkin spice latte is even easier. It’s available now via Mobile Order & Pay without any PSL fan pass required, according to the Pumpkin Spice Latte Twitter.

Starbucks says the latte, which has been around for 13 years, is its most popular seasonal beverage of all time. New for this fall, you can try your pumpkin spice latte with Starbucks Almondmilk in select U.S. markets.

If you can wait until Sept. 6 for your pumpkin spice fix, you can also try Starbucks’s newest fall offering, the Chile Mocha. The drink consists of espresso and steamed milk infused with a cocoa and cinnamon powder. It is then topped with whipped cream and Chile Mocha topping, which includes ancho and cayenne chile pepper, cinnamon and paprika.
