Some good news if you’ll traveling next week for Thanksgiving!
The price of gas is dropping. The average price in Connecticut is $2.89 per gallon. It was $3.02 in October.
The national average is lower of course. It’s now $2.65. A month ago it was $2.88.
Experts say right now there is a high supply and a lower demand for oil which in the end means more money in your wallet.
“I commute from Stamford to Madison Connecticut so it’s like an hour and a half trip so that’s a lot. So that would be a lot of help for me”, Ellen Lawton of Madison says.
Experts say prices are expected to drop even more next week.
