State Senate debating 3 gun safety bills Thursday

The State Senate is debating three gun safety bills.

One would outlaw ghost guns. Those are guns made without a serial number.

Another would prohibit storing guns in an unlocked car.

The third would require all guns in a home with kids to be securely stored, whether the gun is loaded or not.

That bill is named after Ethan Song, a Guilford teenager who accidentally shot and killed himself last year.
