A bill to crack down on alleged deceptive advertising by crisis pregnancy centers in Connecticut is moving forward.
It passed the House of Representatives on Thursday night.
The bill prohibits the typically faith-based centers from making false or misleading statements about the services they provide.
Proponents say the centers mislead patients about their services. The centers disagree.
The bill now goes on to the Senate.
