State unveils first fully electric bus, expecting to have 700 fully electric busses

(WTNH) – Connecticut’s bus fleet is going electric. The state unveiled its first fully electric bus on Friday morning at the CT transit garage in Hamden.

They will be the first of 700 plug in, electric buses in Connecticut.

The Connecticut Electric Bus Initiative is a partnership between state agencies and bus transit providers.
