Stefanowski gathering with supporters in Rocky Hill on election night

The gubernatorial candidates voted on Tuesday, and now, they will wait to see who will be the new leader of the state.

Republican Bob Stefanowski will be at the Sheraton in Rocky Hill on Tuesday night.

Stefanowski said he tried to listen to the people of Connecticut throughout his campaign, and that he would do more of the same if he was elected to the state’s top job.

“They want lower taxes. They want less regulation. They want to get the economy moving and Dan Malloy hasn’t been able to do it,” he said. “Ned Lamont’s economic policy is the same…and I think people are going to vote for change.”

News 8’s George Colli was at the site where his supporters will be gathering later in the evening.
