Stretch your dollar in November: Here’s what to buy..

News

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) It is the last day of October and you know what that means. It’s not just Halloween, a new month kicks off tomorrow. We are helping you stretch your dollar with what you should and should not be buying in the month of November!

First, as soon as today is over, get out and scoop up Halloween décor or costume accessories that you wanted but didn’t want to pay full price for. This week everything will be on sale if it’s not already.

If you want to buy toys for any reason, wait until November 14th. It’s Neighborhood Toy Store Day and you can usually find great deals to kick off holiday shopping, yes it’s that time already. If you’re getting married it’s a good time to shop wedding dresses! Bridal shops are known to clear out inventory this time of year, in fact David’s Bridal is having a sale right now.

Deal News also says this months is great to buy tools if you have any pre-winter repairs to make. Skip the snow blowers and Christmas décor, all of your winter gear is full price right now. Of course hold off on anything electronic until the end of the month for black Friday sales.

Keep your eyes on Veterans Day! Retailers and restaurants are getting ready to roll out their savings and deals. Everyone, even those who haven’t served can usually benefit.
