Student arrested after threatening East Lyme High School

An East Lyme High School student is under arrest after making threats to the school.

Police say 18-year-old John Harrington of 113 Walnut Hill Road made the comments while at the school Tuesday. 

Officials say Harrington threatened to conduct “acts of violence“, but have not released any further information on specifically what the threats were.

Harrington was arrested at his home. He is facing charges of threatening and breach of peace.
