(WTNH) — It’s no April Fool’s Day joke! On March 29th, the dating app, Tinder, released a new feature for height verification.

The tool to encourage honesty in height information – which the company has found that many people have been “rounding up” – will be released in the coming weeks.

A photo will be analyzed of an individual against a building and will use “state-of-the-art verifying” to check on the accuracy of height in a profile. Once it’s been verified, the user will receive a badge on their profile.

The feature has been rolled-out because users were complaining about inaccuracy, “It’s come to our attention that most of you 5’10ers out there are actually 5’6.”
