Teenagers helping to make New Haven a greener place

New Haven is getting a bit greener today.

Teens working with the “Solar Youths Green Jobs Development Program” were out planting vegetables and landscaping. All of the work being done was to improve the look of the community.

The program is designed for kids from New Haven’s low income neighborhoods to inspire the achievement of lifelong success.
