EAST HADDAM, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police as well as East Haddam superintendent of schools, Brian Reas, have confirmed that three male students at Nathan Hale-Ray High School in East Haddam have been arrested for taking secretive photos of female students.
A letter was sent to parents on Thursday from superintendent Brian Reas which detailed the police investigation finding the male students engaged in the “taking of secretive, non-consensual photographs of female students“.
Connecticut State Police have reported that the male students were taking voyeuristic-type “up skirt“ images without the female students’ consent or knowledge and have been “charged accordingly“.
Reas stressed that the school system has a “zero-tolerance policy against such behavior“ and is “offering counseling services to any student who feel as though they may have [been] victimized“.
News 8 will provide additional details as they develop.
