Three East Haddam High School students arrested for taking secretive photos of girls


EAST HADDAM, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police as well as East Haddam superintendent of schools, Brian Reas, have confirmed that three male students at Nathan Hale-Ray High School in East Haddam have been arrested for taking secretive photos of female students.

A letter was sent to parents on Thursday from superintendent Brian Reas which detailed the police investigation finding the male students engaged in the taking of secretive, non-consensual photographs of female students

Connecticut State Police have reported that the male students were taking voyeuristic-type up skirt images without the female students’ consent or knowledge and have been charged accordingly.

Reas stressed that the school system has a zero-tolerance policy against such behavior and is offering counseling services to any student who feel as though they may have [been] victimized.
