Torrington woman killed after crashing into tree, utility pole


TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Torrington woman was killed when she crashed her car into a utility pole and a tree on Chestnut Hill Road Thursday night.

62-year-old Victoria Alfano was a resident of the road, according to Torrington Police.

The accident happened a little after 11 p.m. Thursday night and took down some utility wires when the pole was knocked down.
