Two arrested for Orange break in and assault


Orange, Conn. (WTNH) –  A man and a woman are now facing several charges, including assault and burglary, in connection with a violent incident at a home in Orange last month.

21 year old Carl Davis of West Haven and 19 year old Tashawna Meadows of Bridgeport were both being held on unrelated charges at Bridgeport Police Headquarters when they were arrested for the crimes in Orange.

Orange police say the pair broke into a home in town last month and attacked the people inside with a baseball bat and a metal pipe. They each face charges of assault, burglary, disorderly conduct, and criminal violation of a protective order
