A United Airlines flight touched land before reaching destination twice in the wake of a medical emergency, then a mechanical issue.
A horrible ordeal for passengers on a United Airlines flight from Newark to Hong Kong. The plane took off Saturday afternoon. It then had to be diverted to Newfoundland, Canada for a medical emergency.
As it went to take off again, there was a mechanical issue.
The plane sat on the tarmac for 14 hours in temps that were below 20.
