2-headed snake discovered in Louisiana

A two-headed snake has found a good home in Louisiana.

The western rat snake was spotted in a backyard in Slidell, and it is now being taken care of by a wildlife expert.

She says the snake is about a year old and that the two heads came from one egg that did not fully divide.

Experts now hope these snakes will raise awareness about the importance of snakes in the environment and how unique wildlife can be.
