The University of South Carolina student who was kidnapped and killed will be recognized during graduation next month.
Officials told 7News that Samantha Josephson will be awarded with a posthumous degree.
Josephson was a Political Science major and had plans to attend law school in the Fall.

Her body was found more than a week ago in a wooded area in Clarendon County.
Authorities said Josephson mistakenly got into a car that she thought was an Uber vehicle in Five Points.
Nathaniel Rowland has since been charged in her death.
